Process

How It Works

From your first message to a vehicle arriving at your port — every step explained simply.

01

Search & Bidding

Day 1 – 7

Send us your requirements by WhatsApp or email and we'll search Japan's major auction houses on your behalf. We share auction sheets with full English translations, condition grades, and estimated winning prices so you can make an informed decision before committing. Note: auction windows move fast; typically you'll have 1–2 days to review and confirm before bidding opens.

  • Vehicle model & year range
  • Budget
  • Destination port
  • Colour, grade, transmission preferences
02

Deposit

Day 1 – 2

To activate bidding on your behalf, a deposit of minimum 30% of the vehicle price is required. This deposit is deducted from your final invoice after a successful purchase; it is not an additional fee.

03

Win & Invoice

Day 8

When the bid is won, we notify you immediately and issue a detailed invoice covering the auction price, our agent fee, inland transport to the export port, and your chosen shipping method (RoRo or container). The deposit you paid is applied against this total. Full payment is required within 10 days of the invoice date — please ensure funds are ready before bidding.

04

Payment & Booking

Day 9 – 20

Once full payment is received, we book your vehicle onto the next available vessel and begin the export process. The vehicle is transported from the auction site to the cargo port — this typically takes 15–25 days from auction win depending on the port schedule and any inspection requirements. You'll receive booking confirmation and an estimated departure date.

05

Shipping

Day 20

The vessel departs Japan and we provide you with the vessel name, bill of lading reference, and tracking details. Transit times vary by destination:

  • Australia — approx. 20 days
  • Africa — approx. 30–40 days
  • Europe — approx. 50–60 days
  • North / South America — approx. 50–60 days
06

Documents

Dispatched during transit

Export documents are prepared and sent (Bill of Lading, Export Certificate, Invoice, etc.).

07

Arrival & Collection

Day 50 – 80 (varies by destination)

TShip arrives at your port. You clear customs with your broker and collect your vehicle.
